In Photos, open the Albums tab, then scroll to Utilities and tap Duplicates.
Duplicates lives under the Utilities heading, near the bottom of the Albums tab. The album is built in on iOS 16+ and may be empty if your iPhone is still scanning.
Steps in text
- In Photos, open the Albums tab, then scroll to Utilities and tap Duplicates.
- Tap Merge next to the date.
- Tap Merge 2 Exact Copies to confirm.
- Done — the duplicates are combined into one.
