On the site that needs your microphone, click the small icon at the left end of the address bar.
Steps in text
- On the site that needs your microphone, click the small icon at the left end of the address bar.
- In the panel that opens, find Microphone and click its toggle so it turns on.
- The Microphone toggle turns blue and slides right — that's your cue the permission is now granted.
- Click the reload button so the page picks up the new permission.
- Done — the site can use your mic now, and Chrome remembers this for next time.
